GAMES & SPORTS 2009-10
Participation in 40TH National Sports Meet 2009-10:-
17Boys and 10 Girls of our Vidyalaya were selected to participate in 40TH National Sports Meet in Basket-ball, Badminton, Taekwando,Boxing, Athletics and Cricket, held at New Delhi w.e.f. 16.11.09 to 290.11.09.
Master Himanshu of IX B got Gold Medal in 100 mtrs race in KVS National Sports Meet.
Master Jaskaran Singh of IX A got Silver Medal in Boxing at KVS National Sports Meet.
Kumari Sapna of VII B got 2 silver medals in 100 mtrs race and 400 mts race in KVS National Meet.
Our Vidyalaya was also selected as venue for the conduct of Regional Sports Meet Cricket Boys U-16 of Jammu Region w.e.f. 28.10.09 to 01.10.09
A coaching camp was organized for Regional Team of Cricket Boys U-16 w.e.f. 8.11.09 to 13.11.09
Again it is a great matter of proud for us that our Vidyalaya was assigned the duty to conduct the 40th KVS National Sports Meet Cricket Boys U-16 w.e.f. 16.11.09 to 22.11.09 from all over India 18 Regional Teams of KVS participated in this meet. The meet was conducted successfully and in a smooth manner.
AT VIDYALAYA LEVEL:-
Inter House Competition were conducted in Basket-ball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Badminton and football in July & August month 2009.
Annual SportsDay was organised on 23.09.09
Participation in Regional Sports Meets:- 109 Boys and 43 Girls participated in Basket-ball, volleyball,Kho-Kho, Badminton, Boxing, Taekwando, Athletics and crocket Boys U-16 and U-19 age Group, in regional Sports Meets organised at different venues of Jammu Region in October and November months.

We feel proud to mention here that Mr. Liyaqat Alam of the VIII A was declared as best Athlete of the Meet and was awarded with a Trophy at K.V. I Jalandhar Cantt
Ma. Rahul Singh Rana of Class X C was declared as Best player of the tournament in Basket-ball, held at K.V. I, Udhampur
Ma. Saurabh Kumar of XII Arts was declared as Best player of the tournament in Cricket U-19 Boys held at K.V.I, Jammu

Regional Sports Meet U-16(Boys) 2009-10
Kendriya Vidyalaya Suranussi was selected as venue of Regional sports Meet-2009 Cricket U-16 (Boys) w.e.f. 29.10.09 to 01.11.09.Our vidyalaya won Bronz medal and 3 players are selected for National team and 2 are kept in stand by players list. Kendriya Vidyalaya Suranussi was selected as venue of Regional sports Meet-2008 for conducting the Basket Ball(Girls), Lawn Tennis(Girls), Taekwando(Girls) Tournament, Jammu Region w.e.f. 10.Spt.08 to 13. Spt.08.Players from various KV's of Jammu Region Participated in it.

Basket ball (Girls) were declared as winner in Regional Sports meet and begged Gold Medal. Athletics (Boys) stood overall Runner-Up by securing 63 Points during Regional Athletics meet held at K.V. No.1, Jalandhar cantt.
II. 8 Girls and 3 Boys participated in KVS National Sports Meet was held at Hyderabad.The detail is as follows:-
